Everything went well from the initial sales process which was not pushy at all and the price was good (better than almost everyone else) the first time around rather than random negotiating. The installation went well despite some minor hiccups due to weird city requirements. Henry, our project manager was always responsive. We got all permits and now have our PTO. Nothing but praise for these guys.

I spoke with Mark the sales manager. He gave me the advice I needed for my situation. He doesn't over-promise, but gives a realistic picture of the constantly changing solar market. I'd say he is very trustworthy!

I had no issue with the timeline of the install. In fact, the longest wait was for the utility company to approve the permit to operate. The installation workers were professional and quick. After ~3 months of operation and I do not see any issues so far. My monthly electrical bill fell from ~$500 to ~$20.

I am happy with my experience with this company . Henry was my point of contact. During the installation one of the circuits was messed up. They spent an enormous effort to figure it out and although the problem likely was a loose splice inside this old house, they sent a team out to run a new circuit. Overall the experience was good would work with again.

I don't normally write reviews, but I believe this one is deserved. California Solar and Electric was a pleasure to work with. They truly made the entire experience seamless and easy. I came to CS&E after having a very bad experience with a few other solar install companies, but was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and customer focused Mark and the entire team were... Most important to me, was how the company would take care of me as a customer after they took my money, and CS&E did not disappoint at all...

California Solar and electric installed my solar panels. They did a great job and completed the project quickly. The panels are covering all of my electricity costs and I received a credit from SCE after the first year because the panels overproduced.

I have had bad experiences with solar companies coming by our house, calling, etc. When I finally decided to get solar, I did my research and called this company... Elias and Mark were so helpful. It's been a little over a year and a half since my panels have been operational and I haven't paid Edison a dime since. I did have a few random problems with my house that, in a moment of panic, I thought might have had something to do with the panels... Each time Chris sent someone right away to check things out. They completed the entire project within three visits and helped me install the Tesla wall charger on the same day. Chris is very reasonable, and Elias is very easy to work with... Some months after our very positive solar installation from CS&E, we received a note from Southern California Edison that a Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) credit application had been filed on our behalf... This looks like it could result in a credit or check for about 5% of our installation cost. What a pleasant surprise!... By the way, it's fun bringing up the Enphase app and watching the panels and batteries power our air conditioner, with no input from SCE!

I was lucky enough to find CS&E. I was originally going to go with another company, but after seeing bad reviews, I yelped and found CS&E... Mark broke everything down for me on payments, scheduling, installation, etc. When I asked how many panels I needed, he checked my SCE bill and gave a precise recommendation...
